Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sr. Finance Manager to implement and maintain local accounting and general affairs policies, procedures and reports and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and legal requirements as well as Headquarters’ SF Group policies and requirements.
  • Act as the right-hand man to the Sr. Finance Manager and the management team to provide financial, legal and administrative advice and support business decision making
  • Oversee the key accounting functions: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Asset & Inventories.
  • Responsible for coordinating the Month-End closing process in ensuring complete reporting of financial activity.
  • Responsible to maintain the General Ledger & produce monthly GL account reconciliations.
  • Initiate and implement measures to maintain efficient cashflow and working capital positions
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to comply with local legal requirements and support business developments, including close collaboration with IBU regional office
  • Ensure sufficient internal control is in place and handle the internal and external annual audits
  • Assist the Sr. Finance Manager in various ad hoc financial analysis or duties

Education:

Bachelor degree in finance or accounting. US CPA or potential CPA candidate.


Experience:

At least 7 years of experience in financial accounting. Experience in a fast paced transportation/courier express industry highly preferred.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiary with financial policy and procedure, understanding full cycle of accounting, data analysis and capacity of tax planning; must have some supervising experience
  • Exposure in express delivery or logistics industry preferred; Experience in ERP system; knowledgeable in Oracle a plus; Must be flexible and willing to learn new practices; "can-do" attitude; uphold international accounting standards and best practices, including documentation of internal processes; Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) is a must; knowledge of Oracle or ERP software will be very helpful. Also Mandarin speaking will be an advantage.
